A week in western Colorado (about 1 hour west of Aspen) in late fall. The fall colors were in full view...lots of yellows, oranges, and some reds. We were staying at about 8,000 feet, but went up to 12,000 feet in our travels. We got one night of light snow, but it turned the whole area into a fairy wonderland before it all melted. I will definitely be returning here!
